ad design
promoting meaningful action
Which Side Digital designed engaging ads for Mary Peltola during her Congressional races that were seen by thousands across Alaska leading up to the election – ads that engaged supporters and drove people to the polls statewide. Alaska is a state that is notoriously hard to canvas, making the effectiveness and importance of digital advertising campaigns even more important than a standard race. Reaching the people in remote villages and towns that canvassers would otherwise struggle to reach was critical for improving statewide turnout, and our team more than met the challenge.
"In their years working on my campaigns, Which Side Digital was one of the most reliable partners a candidate could ask for. They managed multiple projects and responsibilities and were vital to my victories."
- Mary Peltola, Congresswoman, AK-01
digital organizing
engaging supporters nationwide
Which Side Digital organized a text message campaign that reached thousands of Alaskan’s during election season. Not all Alaskans are easily accessible by foot or car, but nearly all of them have some sort of phone, and therefore our text strategy was able to reach every single one of them in a way the campaign otherwise might not have been able to. The texting campaign acted as an extra “touch” that further engaged voters and helped keep them updated on major campaign events, and in the final days drive them out to the polls in higher numbers.

gamification + ucg
keeping supporters invested
From word searches to print literature and a creation suite, WSD gamified Mary Peltola’s website allowing volunteers and voters alike to create their own content using the campaign’s branding, logos, and more. This gave supporters real, visible ways to engage with and build the campaign, and in the process built real personal investment amongst thousands of Alaskans. When we gave the people the tools to create their own designs, they invested their own energy, time, and talent in a way they just otherwise wouldn’t have been able to.

print media
merch and information directly into supporters' hands
Which Side Digital designed eye-catching print media that was sent across Alaska to the doorsteps and mailboxes of Mary Peltola’s constituents to educate them on what she stood for and drive them to the polls. By getting print materials in the hands of everyday Alaskans across the state, our team put fun, engaging print media into their home – media that both educated them as well as leaving them with a lasting, positive impression of Mary Peltola’s campaign. WSD also built out an all-encompassing merch store for Mary Peltola’s campaign including everything from shirts to mugs – all with her classic pro-fish messaging.
