advertising
crafting a household name
Which Side Digital designed wildly popular ads for Junaid during his Congressional run that highlighted both his positions and appeal as well as critiques of his opponent that garnered millions of impressions and helped make him a household name in his district. With a campaign that was going up against a well-funded incumbent, a dynamic ad strategy was required to begin breaking through to voters in his district. Our team rose to the occasion, creating dozens of ads that targeted various groups in-district that put Junaid’s campaign right in front of their eyes.
“A flawless campaign. I do this for a living and every single ad [Mary's team] makes is just a direct hit for the electorate in that state."

branding
branding with feeling
Which Side Digital built a brand for Junaid that encompassed his overall vibe, while being unique enough to stand out in a crowded electoral space. His branding alongside his on-the-ground presence took him from a candidate with low name recognition in the district to a household name.
“[Peltola is] using a rusty red, perhaps in an effort to disassociate with the party and influence voters to see her as not a Democrat.”
- Suzanne Downing, Conservative Alaska Columnist
print media
iconic merch and print collateral
Which Side Digital designed incredibly well-received print media for Junaid and organizations that had endorsed him, ensuring he had consistent messaging and material that stood out from the piles of print media voters in his district were receiving that election cycle. Our team re-envisioned the typical print media, adding fun games and using designs and layouts inspired by retro comic books which turned campaign literature from a boring series of handouts voters would inevitably throw away at first glance to engaging sources of fun and information that voters actually enjoyed receiving.
"It was fun! Really enjoyed it."

web design
Increasing Support and Crafting Engagement
Junaid’s website grew to become a one-stop place for constituents to learn where to vote, interact with the campaign’s topline issues, and view citations for major talking points. The website was grown well beyond a standard campaign site, and became a HUB for the community at large – a space where they could not only learn about Junaid, but engage with his campaign and feel as if they were a part of a movement from the comfort of their own homes.
social media
detailed management and design
Colorful, eye-catching templates were designed for Junaid’s campaign to help give even more life to his accounts. When interwoven into his established content, they helped to not only break up on-the-ground photography in a fun, structured manner, but also helped educate voters across feeds on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The design work amplified his reach, educated his constituents, and helped build a semblance of organization and professionalism into his digital operations.
