branding
encapsulating the feeling of alaska
New branding for the Alaska Democratic Party was developed taking inspiration from Alaska’s rich history of tourism and vintage print media. Alaskans have real pride in the beauty of the state they call home, so we built a brand that highlighted it and gave them a sense of pride that as a result of that connection was extended to the state party as well. We wanted people to not just engage with the Democratic Party in Alaska, but take pride in being a part of it.
“When the Alaska Democratic Party was looking to rebrand, Which Side gave us a beautiful new look and identity - which they implemented across our website, social media, and beyond. They have worked with us closely on everything from developing engaging digital content with fresh visuals to holding staff trainings at party meetings. Our partnership with them has been a joy!"

branding on the move
New merchandise was developed for the Alaska Democratic Party highlighting the shared Alaska values that are outlined in the most recent party platform. This gave Alaskans across the state a way to show off their affiliation and take pride in it, and in doing so helped other Democrats in their community feel less isolated knowing they had allies in their homes, villages, towns, and cities.

providing easy-to-use resources
A fresh new website was developed for the Alaska Democratic Party with special attention paid to new pages highlighting shared Alaska values, a summer resources hub, and retelling of the history of the party. We wanted to educate about the past while helping people join in charting the future of the party – combining the two to inspire those in the present.
