ABE's Mission:
ABOUT THE Alliance:
The main goal of Alliance of Black Equality is to stimulate awareness of the dangers that a second Trump presidency holds for Black community and mobilize low propensity Black voters to vote for the Biden-Harris ticket.
Black voters are less enthusiastic about President Biden in they current cycle than they were in 2020. Whereas Biden won 91% of the Black vote in 2020, his current approval ratings with the group hover between 50% and 75%. Moreover, anywhere between 25-30% of Black voters in recent polls say they are open to voting for Donald Trump in 2024.
The Alliance for Black Equality is campaigning to keep low propensity Black voters in the swing states from voting for Trump in 2024.
Can You get behind this Mission?
Alliance for black equality's AGENDA:
Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” yearns for a time when discrimination against Black Americans was the norm. The Alliance for Black Equality will do everything in its power to keep America from returning to this dark time in our past.
Recent polls have also shown that the Biden-Harris campaign’s core positive messages—Bidenomics, abortion rights, and preserving American democracy—are not breaking through with Black voters. Alliance for Black Equality wants to speak to Black voters with messaging that matters to them: namely protecting the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Black Americans have made great strides in the U.S. workforce since racial discrimination in hiring was outlawed by the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Although we still have a lot of work to do to overcome the legacy of systemic racism in this country, Donald Trump is running on a platform to overturn the Civil Rights Act.
For Donald Trump, “Make America Great Again,” means making discrimination against qualified candidates like Derek Williams and other Black workers in the job market legal again.
Before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed racial discrimination in service provision, Black Americans were forced to enter stores through the back door or were limited to shopping only on certain days.
Donald Trump is running on a platform to overturn the Civil Rights Act. If he wins, it will mean that businesses will again be able to discriminate against Black people in service provision: refusal of service, special shopping days, entry through back and side doors.
For Donald Trump, “Make America Great Again” means making discrimination against Black Americans and other people of color legal again.

Founding Story:
Meet Dr. Alvin Tillery:
Alvin B. Tillery, Jr., founder of Alliance for Black Equality, is one of the nation’s leading academic experts on the mobilization of Black voters.
Alvin is also the Co-Founder and CEO of the 2040 Strategy Group, which provides communications, message testing, and polling services to progressive campaigns and causes.
Dr. Tillery founded the Alliance for Black Equality with a simple message in mind: A vote for Donald Trump (and other Republican candidates) is a vote to make racial discrimination in America legal again.
