Skills Learned
I was able to improve her email and text message formatting to ensure audience retention, create a monthly email schedule to allow future content production, develop an onboarding funnel for new people to join our email program without getting overwhelmed, and write a long form blog copy as a fledgling communications intern.
Clients I Worked On
Tom Begich
“Project turn around was done exceptionally quickly while maintaining a high quality level. From one week to the next, I would be working on a different project.”
Favorite project: Tom Begich Emails
Working on an email about healthcare was my favorite project. I enjoyed this most because it is a universal topic that everyone resonates with. When writing this email in particular I found myself able to write without losing focus, getting bored, or worrying about misinterpretation of my writing. Through this email I was able to take the feedback provided and improve on structure while maintaining the core messaging I wanted to portray. I’m proud of all the work I contributed during my eight week journey and look forward to taking what I learned into my future career.
Biggest Accomplishment
I enjoyed learning from Amanda to improve my work turning it into something I could be proud of showing a client.
Biggest Challenge
There were a lot of meetings I realistically didn’t need to be in because they weren’t for me, but I could’ve left at any point if I wanted to. I liked being a fly on the wall because I was able to learn the basics of what the design team works so hard on.
